In the early days when browsing through the markets and villages I came across so many items that I just fell in love with, and if I’m honest, I was a little heart broken that I couldn’t bring them home. On one trip, I was so in love with a hand carved statue that I even took time out of my holiday to try and find a company to ship some items with – the problem was my Indonesian language skills weren’t quite up to scratch, and with all the documentation required it became a little overwhelming. I left empty handed.
Once I established my business I vowed to offer a shipping service so that my loyal customers wouldn’t have the same problems I faced in bringing that perfect item they had found for their home back into Australia.
Now with a few simple steps, you can bring that something you love, home.
1. Haggle, Haggle and Haggle some more!
2. Pay the store a small deposit around 30%. We will pay the remaining balance when we pick up the item on your behalf, and invoice you the exact amount.
3. Take some photos of the items you’ve chosen
4. Have them write your name and my name (Karen Free) on the receipt. Make sure you get the original copy.
5. Make sure their business name is at the top of the receipt or get a business card.
6. Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
Then get in touch with me and we’ll do the rest -
1. Email or call me with all the details and send me the photos (or if we have a shipment leaving soon I’ll direct you to contact my local staff)
2. We will then pick up your goods and have it transported to our warehouse
3. We’ll pack the goods ready for transportation and get all the paperwork ready.
4. Once it’s on the ship, we’ll let you know the date it will be ready for collection in Sydney.
What’s the cost?
The fee per cubic meter is AUD $340.00. We are one of the cheapest in Australia and the only company to offer quality control as part of our service!
Included in this cost is:
• All documentation
• Transportation of goods from place of purchase to our warehouse.
• Packing of goods
• Crating of goods
• Inland transport (Indonesia)
• Fumigation
• Indonesian port charges
• Shipping to Sydney
• Terminal handling charges
• Quarantine fees
• Customs fees• Agency and attendance fees
• Cartage to our location
Not included in the importation Fee - Australian GST and Duty on the value of your goods.
